This delightful, quintessential Sicilian country house, overlooking a little lake is nestled amidst olive groves in the quiet Trapani countryside, at 15 minutes drive from Trapani airport and a 45 minutes drive from Palermo airport.
I m 62 and I have been living in this property with my dogs and cats for the past 15 years. Previously I used to work in the financial industry and subsequently as a car dealer before deciding to set up a B&B in this house, under the same name, A lume di candele, in 2005. Tripadvisor reviews are still present on its website. I love Jazz, travelling, reading and watching sport on tv!. I believe that having spare time is the most precious gift we can do to ourselves. Of the 4 bedrooms of the house, one, with independent access and separated from the others, is inhabited by the owner who takes care of the reception of the guests and the ordinary maintenance that the house requires: garden, pool and the care of pets, 2 cats and 6 friendly dogs, perfectly used to the presence of guests and which have a fenced area dedicated to them
By car. There are no public transports available in the vicinity of the property. The house is a 15 minutes' drive from Trapani airport ( 20 km ) and 45 minutes' drive from Palermo airport ( 80 km ). The town of Trapani, with its lovely and lively historic centre is a 15 minutes' drive. From the port of Trapani a ferry service easily links the mainland to the Egadi Islands. Among others sightseeing trips worth taking in the area Erice, Segesta, Marsala ( 25 min.), Scopello ( 30 min. ), San Vito Lo Capo ( 40 min.)
