In the historic center of Venzone there are Appartamento Taverna Gattolini and Appartamento Palazzo Gattolini, both with a large internal courtyard where you can safely park your motorbikes or bicycles. For your car there is a free parking 60 meters from the accommodation. Will have the entire apartment at your disposal which has just been renovated and furnished in a modern but also in an historical-artistic way which makes it unique and special. I will be happy to show you what to do and see in Venzone and its surroundings. On Wednesday evening the well-known Venzone choir rehearses in the same building, so you can benefit from listening.

The accommodation is located in a medieval building in the center of Venzone. Venzone was named an Italian national monument in 1965. In 1976 it was destroyed by a strong earthquake, then it was rebuilt as it was before, Venzone is an extraordinary example of architectural restoration. it was awarded as the most beautiful village in Italy 2017. The only example in Friuli of a fortified citadel from the 1300s. You will be able to admire the city walls, the cathedral of Sant Andrea, and also the mummies whose first specimen was extracted from the crypts of the cathedral in 1647. You will also be able to discover the beauty of the Julian Prealps Park and bathe in the clear waters of the rivers and lakes located nearby. I am waiting for you. Stopping just one night in Venzone is really a shame, there are many things to do and see in the town and its surroundings, beautiful rivers and streams where you can swim and sunbathe. Malghe to be reached on foot or by bicycle where you can eat genuine and typical food of our land. and more, caves, lakes, museums, fortifications and trenches from the first and second world wars, cycling routes for all levels of difficulty and much more...just ask me and I will be able to give you the right directions
