Casa Cordati is a seventeenth-century building, it is in the main street of Barga. Surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. There are three bedrooms and an apartment for guests. The rooms are very large and comfortable, equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. Cups, glasses and cutlery. On request I can provide iron and ironing boards, umbrellas and brochures of the area. In the palace you can also use the common areas, the concert hall, the seating, which is the room on the roof and the garden.
I opened Casa Cordati in 2003 I try to be as professional as possible, but also friendly. I like to share the beautiful spaces of this building, to guide my clients in the exhibition of my grandfather (in Italian and English), to present the common areas, such as the roof terrace and the garden. I have decades of experience in this work and also in the past I have worked in the tourist field. I willingly accept constructive critics and suggestions to improve my hospitality. Certainly I grew up (and Casa Cordati with me) thanks to the suggestions of my guests. I am convinced that there is no problem without solution and I am always happy to give my help. If you want some advice on what to visit, I can help you. Around Barga there are excellent opportunities for walking. I can also give you some advice and indications on where to find shops.
Barga is a beautiful town on a hill (400 meters above sea level). Beautiful views of the surrounding valleys, peaceful life, two important music festivals (Jazz and Opera Barga). Various cultural events and festivals. Nearby: riding stables, tennis courts, swimming pool and above all opportunities for walking and be a base for visiting the near Garfagnana, cities like Lucca and Pisa, and many medieval villages (often intact) in the valley. Near Casa chordates there are bars, restaurants, a wine bar, an ice cream shop. Many shops, including a supermarket and post office are in the newer part of town, just a 5 minute walk.
