This is the ideal place to enjoy the sea and the beach at the same time as having the possibility to go trekking in beautiful, picturesque settings. Some of the places of interest nearby are Portofino, world famous for its beauty and jet set lifestyle, San Fruttuoso with the old Abbey right on the beach reached only by boat or by foot and CInque Terre, a string of five old seaside villages spectacularly located on the rugged coastline. Genoa has lots to offer and is easily reached by train or car. These are just a few examples. There is plenty more to explore.
