Welcome to our charming little home in the heart of Avola. Casa Rossini combines Scandinavian functionality and botanical vintage aesthetics with local soul and simple comfort. The home has its own entrance, cozy living room/kitchen in one, 2 bedrooms with 5 beds and a large roof terrace with everything you need. The house is perfectly located, right between the sea and the city center, and you don't need a car to get around. Our street is quiet, yet full of life. From early in the morning you can hear street vendors passing by selling eggs, granita, bread, pastries, clothes and household items from their cars. The house has older windows and doors with limited soundproofing, so earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. In this place you can stay close to everything and the location is central. Avola is a family-friendly town with 35,000 inhabitants, authentic streets, friendly people - and fantastic restaurants and cafes. Avola is not a typical tourist town, which gives you a great opportunity to experience the real and authentic Sicily. ROOF TERRACE The terrace is equipped with everything you need: Dining table, sun loungers, parasol, lounge area and barbecue corner. THE HOUSE CONTENTS: - Ground floor: entrance, bathroom, bedroom with 3 beds and living room/kitchen. - Second floor: study, bedroom (without door) and roof terrace. PLEASE NOTE: - For storing clothes: Each of the bedrooms has a chest of drawers + coat rack, no closets for hanging clothes. - The accommodation does not have a dishwasher or a microwave. - There is no WiFi, but 4G coverage works well for streaming and remote working. - The shower is narrow, as is often the case in traditional Sicilian houses, but fully functional for daily use. - A/C: There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and living room. Bedroom in thesecond floor: Floor model that makes a noticeable noise when in use. - Free parking is available on our street and in the surrounding streets.

Please note that our neighborhood we have a neighbor who can be noisy early in the morning due to a medical condition. He is kind and helpful, but the house has older windows and doors with limited soundproofing, so earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE: ▪️Three beautiful, family-friendly beaches (7–10 minutes on foot) ▪️Coop local grocery store (50 m): Fresh bread, delicatessen. ▪️Bakery, cafes, restaurants, shops and hairdresser within 500 m - both towards the center and the beach. Both trains and buses go to Avola, the train station is about 1.3 km walk from the house. Avola is in the middle of popular places to visit, if you want a day or two outside of Avola. Distance by car, and recommendations of places in the surrounding area: ▪️30 min to Marzamemi, idyllic, restaurants and fishing village. ▪️10 min to Val di Noto, Noto is a baroque mountain village with lots of history. ▪️30 min to Siracusa, which is said to be the most beautiful city in Sicily. The Ortiega district is a must-visit. ▪️The volcano Etna, the queen of volcanoes in Europe. Etna is the highest volcano in Europe at 3,350 meters and among the most active volcanoes in the world. ▪️45 min: Catania, the largest city in Sicily with an international airport.
