Tranquil and airy, casa La Vista is a former convent that still maintains some of the original sandstone. The main entrance opens onto an open space with a cozy living room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area with French doors leading to the garden. One of the bedrooms is located on the same floor, a double bedroom with French doors that open onto the garden. An internal staircase leads to the turret where there is the master bedroom with a double bed. One of the two bathrooms is located on the ground floor and it has a tub while the other one has a shower and is located on the first floor.

This independent house is located in a small hamlet just outside Cortona’s town walls. The town and its attractions can be reached on foot by taking a cobbled path. This beautiful medieval town is rich in history and art, but also excellent restaurants (such as Osteria del Teatro or Trattoria Toscana), cafes (Bar Signorelli) and ice-cream parlors. All are within walking distance from La Vista. Guests can visit Museo Diocesano or take a stroll all the way up to the top of the hill, where the Church of Santa Margherita is located. There is parking adjacent to the property, but you can also leave the car in one of the free parking lots outside the walls, about 5 minutes walk from the house. Thanks to its location, Cortona is the ideal starting point to explore Tuscany and Umbria, either by train or by car. Distances by car: Montepulciano 30 km, Pienza 40 km, Siena 60 km, Passignano sul Trasimeno 25 km. Distances by train: Roma 2h30, Florence 1h10, Assisi 1h10, Orvieto 40 min, Arezzo 25 min, Perugia 40 min
