Our family business has grown over generations. Founded by Grandma Maria and carried on by her descendants — the senior hosts of the house — It's recently been lovingly redesigned, renovated, and runed by Sylvia and Meinhard, proudly representing the third generation. Unlike a traditional hotel, our house reflects exactly what we believe hospitality should be today: a place where guests can truly feel at home without sacrificing comfort or luxury. As a professional carpenter, Meinhard places great emphasis on high-quality furnishings, thoughtful design, and fine details throughout the house. Personal connection is especially important to us, which is why we intentionally keep our retreat small and intimate. Our house is home to a fine-dining restaurant offering regional cuisine with a Mediterranean touch. These culinary experiences are complemented by a carefully selected wine collection kept in our fumoir cellar, curated by Sylvia — our hostess and passionate sommelier. We are always happy to arrange small excursions, but if rest and relaxation are what you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place. Our public bus and ski bus stop directly outside the front door, offering hourly connections to the cable car (approximately a 10-minute ride). From there, you can easily reach either the Alpe di Siusi cable car station or the Tires Cabrio cable car, opening the way to the Catinaccio–Carezza ski area. Right next door, the iconic Prösels Castle brings history to life and adds a touch of romance to the surroundings.
