I am an Electronic Engineer who loves traveling, sea and nature. Apartment recommended for a relaxing stay as a couple or for a family with one or two children, situated in a pleasantly cool and ventilated position during summer. It is just a few minutes drive from the most beautiful and least touristy beaches on the island. The area is particularly strategic, as well as for its proximity to a splendid sea away from mass tourism, also for walking, trekking and mountain-bike itineraries (bike rental is located in Rio Marina). Do not miss a visit to the Hermitage of Santa Caterina (not far from the town, towards Nisporto). On the other side, Mount Volterraio offers picnic areas and the view of a wonderful sunset over the Gulf of Portoferraio. For walkers, a visit to the Volterraio castle is recommended, which offers a splendid view of the island from above. Beautiful visit to the ancient mines of Rio Marina with the characteristic little train!

The neighborhood is very quiet and the town of Rio nell'Elba (ancient medieval village), reachable on foot, full of cultural and entertainment events. In summer, the town square becomes a meeting place thanks to the rich calendar of shows, concerts, meetings, debates and entertainment dedicated to adults and children. It is one of the richest town in history and traditions of the whole Elba island, a magical and romantic place, that will remain in your heart forever. The characteristic town of Rio Marina, with its tourist port, is about 4 km away and in the evening it is full of music and colors, in addition it offers restaurants for all tastes and budgets.
