For guests who prefer a more casual experience, there are also several free public beach areas nearby, where no entrance fee is required. FREE ACCESS TO OFF-SITE POOL All our guests enjoy complimentary access to the seasonal outdoor pool at Hotel Calypso, just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. The pool area includes sun loungers and umbrellas and is open daily usually from: 09:30 AM – 01:30 PM 03:00 PM – 06:30 PM Please note: Pool access is seasonal and subject to favorable weather conditions. The opening is exclusively determined by the hotel. PARKING Parking is available at Hotel Calypso (3 minutes away) and must be booked in advance. The apartment is located at the beach promenade of Taormina Mazzeo beach which is the only beach promenade in Taormina. The area is very well kept and is great to spend a beach holiday. The Mazzeo beach offers various great beach clubs where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas but also wide beach areas to be used free of charge. The beach clubs are seasonal and opening depends on the weather conditions of each year. Further, there are many restaurants within walking distance. There is all kind of stores, bars, and restaurants within a short walk. To point out, there are some of the best beach clubs and beach restaurants of Taormina within a short walk. The shuttle bus which leaves to Taormina historic city center is just a 5 minutes walk distant.
