The structure has direct access to the enchanting and historic Piazzetta Vigo and to the Vigo column, whose legend tells that a cat arrived from Venice chased by four lions and that to escape them he took refuge on the column while the lions placed themselves on the Vigo bridge, but waiting for him to come down, they turned to stone.
Near the structure there are the stations for excursions to the lagoon, to Pellestrina and Venice.
In addition, a few meters away there is the famous fish market, the fascinating Canal Vena and its poetic bridges, the historic buildings of Chioggia and countless restaurants and "bacari" to taste and fully experience the Chioggia tradition.
