We open beckpacker’s hostel named Island Hostel WASABI on 7th July 2018. The location is close to Ashibe port and on the top of the hill, where rich natural environment remains. This hostel is a Japanese traditional houses which is about 50 years old. About 5,000 paper-cranes on the national flags of the world are welcomed you when you open the entrance door. All rooms have fine view of around Ashibe port and Japan sea, especially we can see mainland Kyushu on a clear day. We can see the rising sun from the sea horizon in the morning and a star filled sky at night. Next to our hostel, there are a treehouse, a vegetable field, 20 cattle and large dogs. And we have rental scooters, so you can go around Iki island easily and cheaply. We will come to Ashibe port to pick you up when you arrive. Please Enjoy your stay in Iki island.
