He came across an old folk house (the former Yamakawa residence) in his hometown of Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and opened kominka sui with the desire not just to preserve and preserve the old house, but to develop it into a community where people could gather and interact.
His goal is to utilize and develop this place together with people of all ages from the local area.
