We are very happy to welcome you to Goto I-House, our rental home next to Ohama Beach. We recently renovated the bathroom and updated the kitchen with new appliances. We have electric bicycles, beach toys, BBQ goods, a fire pit, games for kids and much more! We want our guests to have a wonderful time so we've tried to prepare everything so you can simply relax and enjoy your stay on this beautiful island. We even bought several rental cars that are exclusively available for our guests. There is an extra fee to rent a car but it includes pick-up and drop-off at the port our airport. You'll be sleeping on Japanese-style futons (locally made) in the tatami rooms (air conditioners / heaters). Goto I-House is about 15 minutes from the port or 10 minutes from the airport. Although there are plenty of places to stay (and live) in the Fukue downtown area, we love living in this quiet beachside neighborhood with a great park and port. So come stay at Goto I-House and live like a local for a few days! Goto I-House is just a 2-minute walk to Ohama Beach. Of course, Hitomi (from Goto) and I (Nicholas, from the USA) live a few minutes away so you can always ask us if you need anything.

Greetings! I'm Nicholas (from California, USA) and my wife is Hitomi (from Goto). We used to really love traveling and we actually met while traveling around the world on a ship. After visiting 25 countries together, we decided that Goto is our favorite place. So, now, instead of traveling, we love welcoming travelers to Goto Island and our rental home. As you can imagine, we both love the outdoors and the ocean so we also work as SUP/Kayak guides at Ohama Beach. 10 year ago we rode our bikes from Tokyo to Goto! It took about 1 month. But after that experience we realized that Goto would be a great place to raise a family. So that's what we are doing now. We love Goto and want you to feel the same way so we'll do our best to support you during your stay. Our neighborhood is called Ohama. It's about 15 minutes from Fukue port and 10 minutes from the airport. It's a quiet fishing village with a great beach (Ohama Beach), nice park (Kozaki park), fishing port, and a 250-year-old mysterious Ako Tree! There are some cafes within cycling/driving distance but you'll need a rental-car to access the nearest supermarkets and most Japanese restaurants. We have a rental car available (6000 yen / 24 hrs.) so our guests can enjoy exploring the island. If you want to get a taste of the "local life", staying in our neighborhood will be a great experience. Enjoy a walk along the coast, go for a swim in the ocean or have a BBQ in the garden. We know you'll comfortable in Ohama. We also live nearby so we can stop by if you need any help.
