The GrandMer Sankaiso located in Ajikasawa Onsen, Aomori Prefecture, has a history of 75 years since its founding, and is currently operated by the president Dr. Sugisawa, and a Taiwanese manager Elaine. GrandMer was opened in 1999. It is surrounded by the sea, and mountains, with the unique landscape and fossil seawater hot spring. It became one of the representative hot spring hotels in Aomori Prefecture.

Neighbourhood information

The nearby "Shirakami" mountain, was selected as a world natural heritage in 1993. The pure water from the Shirakami is the treasure of Aomori, cultivating the fresh abalone and yummy fishes. When it comes to the scenery, the mysteries such as the "Aoike" blue pond is also deeply loved by mountain lovers. The apple picking experience at Hirosaki Park, the standing sleep demon festival in Goshogawara, the seafood soup Ramen and the Takayama Inari Shrine have become more and more popular in recent years via media exposure. Geographically, GrandMer takes only eight minutes drive from JR Ajigasawa Station. GrandMer is your first choice for who travelling by car or take the JR Line.
