This is a beautifully restored 100 year+ old, home of a British Officer who was station in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) during the British period. It is now the Holiday home of my childhood friend. From the In house Pool you look out over our own Rice Field and Organic vegetable garden. Chandra our cook will give your taste buds something to remember straight from the garden.We can organize your Air port Pick up and Drop, and Chauffeur service to anywhere in the country at the best rates. We organize day trips to Kandy, Sigiriya, Dambula, Anuradhapura, Trincomale (scub diving, snorkeling, whale and dolphin watching). We will get you commission free prices for Sri Lankan Gems, Sapphires and Jewelry and other Souvenirs. All you need to do is ask and we will try our best to make your request possible. Our neighbourhood is a quiet rural village. 5 minutes away from us is the world famous, 'Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage', Transit Home & Zoo, and a few other places like Millennium And Freedom Project…where you can feed and bathe and walk the elephants.. There are a few mountains around for hiking and trekking. We have 12 beautiful Water falls in the area, ideal for picnics or just adventures..
