Hi I'm Peter from Australia and I bought Strathisla Bungalow back in 2009.
It's been a long journey to get the old house and gardens looking as lovely as they do now but it's been well worth the effort.
We have tried to make the house comfortable in a semi-colonial style with the emphasis being on maintaining the old world atmosphere.
There is a wonderful team at Strathisla headed by my ever friendly, diligent manager Jeyakumar who will look after you like family, while his wife Priya will be sure to take you on a culinary adventure with her mouth watering cooking.
Please be sure to enjoy a Yoga class or an Ayurvedic massage or if you're feeling energetic, why not take a hike up into the Knuckles ranges.

Strathisla Bungalow offers tea estate B&B accommodation in the beautiful hinterland of the Matale region.
