Spacious and homey apartment in the historical centre of Cēsis – in a 19th-century house facing Castle Park and with a sunset view from the romantic veranda (veranda warm only from mid-May to mid-September). We have renovated the old hardwood floors that give a very warm feel. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you might need even for a longer stay. Suitable for couples, families, and small friend companies. Children are also welcome – there is a highchair, a crib, toys, and books. The apartment has central heating, a fully equipped kitchen with a hob and oven (and everything you need to cook, including salt, sugar, oil, some spices), also tea, coffee; a spacious fridge, a washing machine. There is free parking available at the property. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (no elevator!). Guests may use the garden area upon request.
I love nature and adventure travels with my family. In 2017, we moved from the capital Riga to this enchanting small town Cēsis. Happy with the decision! The guest apartment is a "family business". We live on the 1st floor of the building and will help if you need something. We have put our hearts into making this apartment a home away from home and our guests' enjoyment is our top priority. But please note that this is a private house you are sharing with the hosts. We are not a large accommodation business. We appreciate and expect guests to treat this place with respect. Thank you!
The apartment faces the central park of the town – the picturesque Cēsis Castle Park (Pils parks), a romantic leisure place created in the 19th century by Carl Gustav Graf von Sievers, the owner of Cēsis Castle at the time. The town itself is a former Hanseatic town with a romantic old town, small cafes, Medieval castle, high-quality cultural events and it is surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Gauja National Park. 5-10 minutes and you can hike in the forest, swim in the lake, boat on River Gauja or cycle around the town and enjoy the landscapes. During winter, the ski slopes are open. Perfect destination if you like history, culture, good food and nature. :)
