Location The kasbah is a traditional building, located at the gates of the Drâa Valley and the desert, Bounou, just before M'hamid El Ghizlane. It is located at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level and about 40 kilometers from the Algerian border. M'Hamid is accessible at the end of the national road 9 from Ouarzazate (260 km) through Zagora (about 97 km).
