Merzouga is a small town in southeast Morocco, 50 kilometers from the Algerian border, 45 kilometers from Erfoud, and 35 kilometers southeast of Rissani. Since it is the most well-known of the sub-Saharan ergs, Erg Chebbi, many travelers visiting Morocco include it on their travel plans. The greatest natural body of water in Morocco is located in Merzouga. There are more, less well-known towns around the Erg Chebbi dunes: Tanamoust is three kilometers away, Takoujt is one and a half kilometers away, Hassilabied is four kilometers away, and Khamlia is fifteen kilometers away.

After a wonderful dinner, we will build a campfire and play drums and sing the traditional songs of the Berber, Toureg .
