It is modern in decor with comfortable furnishings, an extremely well-equipped kitchen complete with a coffeemaker and also includes a separate utility area complete with a washing machine and extendable clothesline. The bedroom is spacious, and the bathroom is comprehensively appointed. The apartment manages to combine historical and modern elements very tastefully. It also contains large amounts of storage. Central Valletta with its vibrant atmosphere and historical buildings is only a few minutes walk away and there are several casual restaurants in the immediate vicinity and easy access to local swimming areas. The Valletta-Sliema Ferry is also a few steps away just under the City Bastions which offers a spectacular view of the Marsamxett Harbour. It is good for guests to know that this home is a restored historic 300 year old building that shows the traditional Maltese architecture and the beauty of the exposed Maltese stone and vaulted ceilings. Due to the porous and humid nature of Maltese globigerina limestone and the way these buildings were constructed hundreds of years ago, the honey-coloured stone walls tend to flake a little. Through the stay expect to see some tiny flakes here and there. It's part of the experience of living in an authentic Maltese townhouse in Valletta. The attention to detail, both decorative and functional is the hallmark of this apartment. All has been done to the highest specification. Its situation in St Michael's Alley, the natural stone elements and the neutral colour palette means that it is a quiet, relaxing space but just a few steps away from the Western bastions of the city and easy transport links. Truly a haven after a busy sightseeing day.
Armed with a diploma in Motor Vehicle Technology from MCAST, I have forged a path as an accomplished motor vehicle mechanic and vehicle roadworthiness tester. My journey extends beyond the automotive realm, venturing into the vibrant hospitality industry. Alongside my technical prowess, I own and manage two Airbnb premises, and it's in the hospitality sector that my heart truly finds joy. Complementing my CPL, I obtained an Instrument Rating (IR) to enhance my aviation capabilities. Taking a step further, I completed the Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course on an Airbus A320 in Budapest. As I eagerly await the right moment, I am poised to apply and transition into the aviation industry as a cadet pilot. My diverse skill set, encompassing technical expertise, hospitality management, and aviation proficiency, positions me as a versatile candidate ready to excel in a variety of fields and make a significant impact on any venture I undertake.
Valletta is Malta's lilliputian capital, built by the Knights of St John on a peninsula that's only 1km by 600m. Its founder decreed that it should be 'a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen', and it retains its 16th-century elegance. It may be small, but it's packed full of sights; when Unesco named Valletta a World Heritage site, it described it as 'one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world'. The neighborhood is a great place to live. There isn’t a lot of noise, it is secure, and most of all, the neighbors are helpful.
