We love giving a wonderful hosting experience to guests. Swimming, hiking and reading are my favourite hobbies. Details to Note This recently refurbished property has preserved its original heritage features, including the stunning double-height, 4-meter ceilings with stone arches. The home offers an authentic Maltese experience with traditional handcrafted ceiling slabs and wooden beams. In the bathroom, the ceiling height ranges from 2.1 meters to 1.9 meters under the beams, creating a cozy atmosphere. The porous nature of the Maltese globigerina limestone may cause some flaking, but this is part of the charm of staying in a 500-year-old Maltese townhouse. Neighborhood The property is located in a typical Maltese neighborhood, known for its friendly locals. While the street is a peaceful dead-end, the bustling heart of Valletta is just a short walk away. The apartment sits atop a Valletta bastion with commanding harbor views. Nearby, you’ll find charming bars and restaurants. While the property has its own washer-dryer, there is also a self-service laundry nearby, as well as luggage-holding facilities at City Gate. A rocky beach is within walking distance. Getting Around You won’t need a car during your stay, as you can easily walk to restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and entertainment spots. All of Valletta’s cultural and historic centers are just a 5 to 15-minute walk away. The central bus station, connecting you to the rest of Malta, is just a 5-minute walk. The street is a dead end so you get the best of both worlds. This 50m2 apartment is literally sitting on top of a Valletta bastion with with breathtaking commanding harbor views. 50 metres down the road you will find lovely bars and restaurants. There is unmetered street parking spaces in front of the accomodation. The place has its own washer-dryer but there is also self-service laundry nearby as well as luggage holding facilities at City Gate. A lovely rocky beach is also available within walking distance. The property has just been completely refurbished but all the original heritage features have been kept and painstakingly restored. The main Sala Nobile room has double height ceiling, 4 meters high with beautiful stone arches. In reality, you dont need a car if you are staying here. It is central but quite. There is an additional charge imposed by local government (Eco tax). Up to 31st December 2025: Adults: half a euro per person per night, capped at a maximum of five euros per person per stay. From 1st January 2026: Adults: One and a half euros per person per night, capped at a maximum of ten and a half euros per person per stay. Payment is be deposited in cash by guests at the property.
