Cabin in Ål, Hallingdal. Linnaeus is a large, comfortable cabin built in 2011, in a quiet area, about 500 m from Liatoppen. Great cross - country ski trails in the area. Ål has also magnificent trails for mountain biking. Possibilities for hiking and cycling. Tollroad to the cabin. As this is a self-catering cabin, be sure to bring your own sheets and towels, and all consumables (food, drink, toilet paper etc).

Ål is a village in steeply sided Hallingdal valley in the Buskerud region of Norway. The Ål area has around 50 trout fishing waters both in the valley, the rivers and on the mountains. Ål is a three hour car journey from Oslo or around four and a half hours from Bergen. Visit Ål in winter and you won’t be short for things to do, even if you are not a fan of skiing. Although the area has a great selection of downhill and cross-country options there are plenty of other winter activities to enjoy, including one of the longest toboggan runs in Norway. You can also try your hand at ice fishing in the Rødungen North (among others) in the Bergsjø area. In the summer, Ål is the perfect place to get back to nature. There are so many outdoor opportunities to explore, most notably hiking, fishing and cycling! One of the key summertime activities in Ål is trout fishing and there are many areas to explore. Ål is a great location for cycling, especially mountain biking and there is a bike park in the village. The hiking around Ål is fantastic and all enjoy commanding views of the countryside.
