17 waiake is an amazing place to stay, it is surrounded by beaches, cafes, beautiful bush areas nearby....is is a 30 second stroll to the beach...it is a private space with each apartment having its own entrance, each apartment has a lovely outside sitting area, often all you hear is the birds chirping. There is something for everyone here, whether you love the water, the bush, hanging out with family, shopping malls only minutes away, Auckland city only 15 km away where you can enjoy our beautiful city. From here you can visit many parts on the North Island only an hours drive away to some of the countries most spectacular scenery including, wineries, beaches, special villages the rough west coast beaches..or you can just chill out and enjoy this beautiful neighbourhood which boosts a large reserve just up the road along with countless beaches to explore..also a great place for kids and adults alike explore and to play. For the locals there is a boat launching ramp just seconds away which can take you out to many islands in the beautiful hauraki gulf.

Hi everyone, I am your host at 17 Waiake, I am the person who will greet you and show you your place to stay, I love meeting all the wonderful people that come and stay with us from all around the world, mostly I love to find out about your travels, its so exciting to hear your stories. I am a born and bred kiwi..I am proud and feel privileged to have been lucky enough to have grown up in this beautiful country I call home. I enjoying helping guests with their travel plans and I am always available to help if you need me. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking part in a multitude of outdoor activities from diving, windsurfing, kayaking, tramping etc. Being a local I can steer you to some pretty awesome places to visit which are off the beaten track and seldom visited. I look forward to you staying with us and love being able to share our space with you.

A beautiful safe neighbourhood away from the bustle of the city, yet only 15 km away from Auckland citys waterfront and home of the americas cup.
