Avocate' Cottage is a luxury timber cabin nestled amongst Avocado trees in a quiet rural setting. Avocate Cottage caters for couples only, offering privacy and seclusion away from the stress and pressures of everyday life. We aim to provide our guests with a unique experience of tranquility and peacefulness in their own self contained one bedroom cottage separate from the main home.

Welcome to Avocate' Cottage. We live in such a beautiful part of New Zealand and are very lucky to have such a special property so close to beautiful beaches, cycle and walking tracks and two very close beach towns. Our plan was to build a purpose built cottage to provide privacy and luxury to our guests so they too can enjoy everything that this beautiful part of the world has to offer. Guests are guaranteed their privacy offering a separate driveway to the Cottage.

Avocate' Cottage is located four kilometres from beautiful rural beach town of Whiritoa. Whiritoa offers a beautiful lagoon, walks, a blow hole, great surfing and a cafe'. Whangamata is only six kilometres to the North of Avocate' Cottage, offering beautiful beaches, estuary and a harbour. Great boat launching at all tides and a safe bar crossing. Whangamata offers great shopping, supermarkets, petrol stations and food outlets, surfing, fishing, walking tracks, numerous bars and clubs, cafes' and restaurants. There are two golf courses available, boat ramp, cycling and hiking tracks. Whangamata is the gateway to the Coromandel offering many activities all within a short distance of the Cottage.
