Your private guest accommodation is directly across the road from the Omapere wharf, with adequate room for both a car and boat, a hose is available for boat or car wash down. Also fish preparing station. Lovely views from the shaded deck with a barbeque and seating area to soak up the views and discuss your days events. Beach towels are provided with clothes line to dry beach gear. A light breakfast is supplied, coffee, tea, muesli, yoghurt, bread and spreads. Conveniently located across the road here in Omapere , you'll find a cafe, (best coffee) garage and laundromat. Along to the left is the Sands Hotel ensuring all your needs are met. We also have our history museum at 14 Waianga Place, Omapere. An interesting visit of Hokianga's past .The origional sculpture of Opo the Dolphin is situated there too. Further along the road to the right is Opononi where you will find the Opononi pub, a great fish & chip shop, 4 square grocery shop, Landing cafe plus the Hokianga I-Site where you can get information on what's on during your stay- the map I have provided gives you the timetable for the Ferry that leaves from Rawene if you decide to venture up north further. So many walking tracks. I have provided a book of cards for places to venture to. (Just take a snapshot of the walk area you want to visit) leaving the book intact for future guests to enjoy.
