Our home is in the beautiful Duvauchelle / Akaroa area. We have a pleasant backdrop of 2 acres of garden which is soon to be expanded. Our two separate accommodation units, the Bellbird Cottage, and the Garden Apartment, provide beautiful and relaxed settings to enjoy our lovely area. In both cottages you wake up to the lovely country air and hear the birdsong in this peaceful place. The Bellbird Cottage can accommodate facilities for a toddler if needed. If you need a night out on your own a qualified nanny / babysitter is on site at a resonable rate. Please advise before booking - thank you.
We have enjoyed living in various places within North Canterbury and have recently embraced living in Duvauchelle and running our guest accommodation. We enjoy meeting new people and love you to have the experience of this special property and our lovely well looked after gardens. Walk around them and take in the view of the hills and the ocean. Occasionally you will see the cruise boats in the harbour. Also I have Devonshire tea with scones , extra cost per person you need to book this with me one day before , also wine / beer nibbles with the hosts and a tour of the property extra cost per person also book a day before thank you you’re host / manager Rose 🌹
As mentioned we are right next to the golf course, 1km from Duvauchelle and the bay, 4km from Robinson's bay and Barry's bay, 6km from French farm, and 10km from Akaroa township, 12km from the garden of tane, 12km from Wainui, 20km from Little River (which you will pass through en route from Christchurch) and 1 hour drive from Christchurch centre.
