Join Leo and Barbara Anselmi in their classic yet modern decorated home. We pride ourselves in sharing our home and our rural way of life on a working dairy farm. Our B & B is truly a restful break for anyone traveling New Zealand or wanting a weekend away.

Carmel Farmstay is a well-established homestead in rural King Country surrounds. Be treated to home cooked meals and the warmth of Leo and Barbara's home. Explore their working dairy farm or venture on an ATV quad over rolling hills and through limestone formations before returning to the homestead to bask in the sun around the pool or take a leisurely stroll through the gardens. Looking for a more adventurous experience, we are only a short 33 minute drive to the Waitomo Caves, or on route to the Pureroa Timber Trail mountain biking tracks. For others wanting a slice of paradise, the nearby Mangaotaki Valley is home to trout fishing or the world renowned movie site of Sir Peter Jacksons Hobbit film location.
