Enjoy a cosy, stylish stay at this central, non-smoking Amsterdam-style studio in the iconic Left Bank arcade. Directly off colourful Cuba Mall, right in the heart of Welly, this inner-city gem offers a place of rest and super easy access to Wellington's sights, activities and fabulous cafes/artisan stores. All facilities available for a night in or a quick bite and cuppa before heading out again. A little oasis in amongst the urban murmurings of the most alive, interesting area in the city. This is a primo inner-city location so be aware that there can at times be a bit of social noise (altho no pubs/drinking establishments in the arcade) - other times it's incredibly quiet - but majority of people accept this condition and enjoy their stays very much! It is a TV-free space but plenty of powerboards for your laptop - and board games/books/magazines are provided. On first floor, with outside balcony/walkway, locked gate, safe for single female travellers. Lift, free wifi, good shower pressure, air con/heat pump, clean, neat, modern, minimalist but very homely...you will feel more than cosy here! New queen bed and fold down king single available for 3 people. Compact but feels quite spacious and light for an open-plan one room space. Please note there are two options for paid parking - outside the back of arcade and in the Wilsons Carpark attached next door on Victoris St

Cuba Mall is the most lively, colourful area in Wellington City. It has plenty of cafes, cocktail bars, lots of ethnic/gourmet restaurants, locally-made boutique/fashion stores and a quirky neighbourhood to people-watch. The studio is in a quaint older arcade called The Left Bank just off Cuba Mall. It contains an eclectic mix of Asian cafes, iconic Pegasus Bookstore, hairdressers, barbers, yoga studio, art galleries etc. You will be literally in the throbbing heart centre of things but just enough 'down the alley' to be in your own little urban sanctuary. A short 10 min walk down to the waterfront, CBD, Te Papa Museum and restaurants and a short walk up to Mt. Victoria. If you want to be in Wellington - this is the primo central spot!
The Left Bank is attached to Wilson's Victoria St carpark building for short and long-term stays. (be aware there are two Wilson's carparks in the area - you want the Left Bank one) Buses run from Manners Mall just down Cuba St and Ubers and Olas abound (Olas are generally more economical - download the app) Regular 'Airport Express' buses to and from the airport. There are several electric scooter companies also - Flamingo, JUMP and Beam are available around town - download the app, pick them up and go! Generally you can walk everywhere from where you are - down to the CBD, waterfront,Te Papa Museum, Art Galleries etc
