The property is an organic orchard with extensive plantings of trees and gardens. The cottage itself has spectacular views of the plains, and can see past Havelock North, Hastings & Napier to the Ruahine Ranges beyond. With the shifting weather, time of day and clouds, the view is truly spectacular.
The property is well located - within 15 minutes of Hastings, Havelock North, and within 20 minutes of Napier. Basically anything you wish to do is a small car ride away.
Pets are very welcome, but not in the room itself. There is a sheltered kennel behind the cottage with a chain to tie pets up if you wish.
I live on the property running the orchard. I also do extensive distillations from the herb gardens, and make a range of products from the distillations.
I am very respectful of your privacy, but more than willing to have a chat, give advice, or help out if you wish it.
A very safe and gorgeous neighbourhood. The area is classed as a "special character zone" by council. We have a trout fishable river within 1 km distance from the cottage as well as the huge Hawke's Bay cycle trail. There are two nice bikes with helmets you're more than welcome to use for free.
