Haven Homestay is a delightful Bed & Breakfast property located on Sophia Street, Glenholme, just a few minutes drive from the City centre of Rotorua. The B&B has 2 stylish, comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. Our Deluxe Room has a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, full bath tub and twin vanity sinks. Our Standard Room has the same ammenities with a private, dedicated bathroom across the hall. Both rooms overlook our wonderful, secluded garden which consists of lush trees and box hedges, sun loungers and seating areas and a patio with outdoor table and chairs. The large, high ceiling lounge can be shared by all and has a gas log fire place, piano and TV. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room and this is a time to meet with your hosts and other guests and enjoy breakfast and conversation together. We are very knowledgable of all things Rotorua and can assist your with tourism advise and even provide a booking service. We also provide a free pick-up and drop-off service to the Rotorua Bus Station or the Rotorua Airport for people without their own transport - just let us know when you book if you require this.

Your hosts are Mike and Peter. We have lived in Rotorua for 11 years running our previous successful Bed & Breakfast Rotorua City Homestay. Now we have relocated to bigger and better home to start our new venture Haven Homestay. Mike's previous background was running 5-star international hotels in Australia, so he knows a thing or two about the hospitality industry. Peter's background was a Graphic Designer, also involving a public facing role, and he has an eye for detail with all things design and interior-related. We are both friendly, down to earth people and welcome all guests. We are also rainbow-friendly.

Haven Homestay's immediate neighbourhood is in Glenholme, close to the popular tourist attractions of Whakarewarewa and Te Puia. Sophia Street is one of the original "golden circle" streets of Rotorua - and still is considered to be so with its lush tree-lined streets and quality homes. Its also a safe neighbourhood and we have off-street parking. We are walking distance to several restaurants, a delightful bakery and the best Fish and Chip shop in town! By car we are just 5 minutes to town with its many shops, restaurants and bars. The local bus route is just a 3 minute walk away if you don't have a car.
