A perfect getaway for couples or a solo retreat, this warm and cosy modern cottage is set on a peaceful, fully fenced rear section across from the lakefront.  Wander out to the lakefront walking track for panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. Walk just a few minutes more to reach the Church of the Good Shepherd and sheepdog memorial, then over the Tekapo footbridge (perfect location for photos!) to the village centre eateries & shops. Lily Cottage has everything you need for a short break or a week away.  Enjoy cooking and dining in the spacious open kitchen and then curl up in front of the log burner in the cosy lounge.  Soak up the sunshine or Tekapo's renowned night sky from outdoor seating on the deck. The separate bedroom also opens to the deck and into the ensuite bathroom. Carport parking and laundry facilities completes the easy holiday living at this fully self-contained accommodation. By prior agreement this pet-friendly accommodation also welcomes well-behaved dogs, so your whole family can enjoy the break (small fee applies).  Tekapo's dog park is within walking distance, ideal for your morning walk before going out and exploring for the day.
