Sea La Vie is a self-contained apartment below the owner's residence. It has private access and easy off-street parking. The guest bedroom is separated from the lounge through a door.. A fold out king single bed is available for a third person to sleep in the lounge area. A short 4 minute stroll to 'Little Cable Bay Beach' offers a sheltered white sand beach, safe swimming and wide vistas of Northland's renown Doubtless Bay. Walk 5 mins further down the road to Cable Bay's fabled ice cream store. Or for the thirstier traveller a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction will find you at the local Taipa Tavern. Sea La Vie offers guests a relaxing respite, clean and tidy accomodation and proximity to the stunning Far North attractions.

Muzz n Sue are experienced travellers and hosts who reside in the upstairs home. We love meeting people and understand the need for rest and recuperation while 'on the road'. We love helping visitors get the most out of their stay in the Far North and will happily share tips and tricks for the best food, sights and places of real interest while you are in the 'Top of The Country'.

Doubtless Bay is famous for its panoramic sheltered bay. The area offers safe swimming, surfing, fishing and the sheltered Mangonui Harbour. There is a selection of restaurants and fast food within 2-15 mins drive. The famous Mangonui Fish n Chip shop is a 10 minute drive down the road to add to your 'bucket list'. Kaitaia township is 25 minutes northwest. Cape Reinga is a 90 minute drive north. If you choose to drive on Ninety Mile beach talk nicely to us when you get back and we'll dig out the waterblaster so you can get the sand out from underneath the car! The 'Far North' travels at its own pace; even the petrol comes out of the pump slower. Its a great place to relax, recharge and then psych yourself up to return to your busy lives.
