Beautiful views of the Firth of Thames looking out over the mussel farms where you can see the boats fishing. Also beautiful views of the Te Mata river where you can relax in 2 outdoor baths and look out over a large bush area listening to the sound of the river after a long day. There is a Kiwi program in the area so there is lots of native birds and if you are lucky can hear the kiwi calling in the evening. There is lovely water holes in the river for taking a dip. Very quiet location and great place to unwind. Close to Coromandel township and Thames for supplies. Nice walks in the area and great fishing.
