The Artist's House NZ is an immersive art accommodation offering you a truly unique visit. The house can be booked in its entirety, 3 bedrooms for 6 people (upgrade option for a 7th person), or book a room separately and it's like a mini lodge where you get to connect with other curious travellers, there is lots of spaces to move about and share. Guests are loving it! Bed & Breakfast options are available. Sonia, your host, is a visual artist and loves a mix of natural calm and creative inspiration and this is how the house feels...There is a chefs kitchen, an outdoor pizza oven & BBQ, hottub and infrared sauna, huge lounge and Crystal Movie Lounge; fire place, riverside picnic spots; the bedrooms are all unique, comfortable beds and natural fibre linens. Only 10km from Wanaka, The Artist's House is in a private rural setting with expansive mountain and sky views, it's like going on a mini retreat! The Artist's House is just ten minutes out of Wanaka, a wilderness playground for the adventurous traveler! Here we are surrounded by world class vineyards & great cafes; stunning walking tracks for all levels, major hikes & climbs; biking from challenging mountains to the gentle rail trail; fabulous golf and art galleries, lake & river cruises and did we say stunning scenery, again...racing tracks for fast car lovers, and a vast selection of healers from the mystic to a regular spa treatments. The house sits on an acre of land along side the gentle Luggate Creek, it's a private haven with vast views. There's lovely 5km loop track to walk or run, along the stunning and huge Clutha River, which flows from the alps all the way to the ocean on the east coast of NZ. There's a small local pub...and espresso coffee in the house :)
