The accommodation is a new build, built in 2025, with double glazing, insulation and modern fittings throughout. The space and decor are airy and tranquil. The Bedrooms and bathroom have large windows allowing natural light. There is an easy flow from the bedrooms to both the kitchenette and bathroom. The Main Bedroom has patio directly outside where a morning coffee and meals can be enjoyed.
Thank you for choosing Time and Tide as your accommodation preference. We would love for you to enjoy this gem of a place called Athenree.
Our accommodation is found on a quiet street, with parking for your vehicle. Athenree is a small settlement with a real community vibe. We are a 5-7min walk to the Estuary, and a mostly flat, local Reserve Walk. (approx. 25mins loop walk back to the accommodation)
The coastal Shopping village of Waihi Beach is approx. 10 mins drive from the accommodation, here you will also find more walks and the beautiful surf beach.
Athenree is a community with a "slow pace" vibe. It is situated on a tidal estuary, with a public walking reserve that emphasises the tranquility of the area. There is a local hot pool, open most days to the public, within walking distance from the accommodation.
