It was not until September 1922 that the government finally removed all remaining mandates, including mask and isolation requirements, effectively ending New Zealand’s pandemic response measures. But sadly, by the time restrictions were lifted momentum for the B & B had been lost. Though Tirimoana House now offers self-catering accommodation for a single suite, that same spirit of care and attention lives on in the Queen Charlotte Suite.
