We are passionate about giving all our guests a memorable experience. We offer unique accommodation for the district and past guests have commented on our attention detail and that we have thought of everything. This includes shoe warmers for when you arrive with wet boots from a day hike, umbrella in your room as it does rain here from time to time and USB charge points. We are passionate about our sustainability with regards to generating our own electricty, water supply and processing of waste water on site. We estimate that we recycle around 80% of the rubbish guests leave behind. Recycling bins are provided in each room.

Áll our suites offer views of Mt Ruapehu across beautifully landscaped gardens and garden pond . From the Tongariro Suite and Turoa Suite you can wake up in the morning and have breakfast in bed while enjoying the mountain view. From the Ruapehu and Whakapapa Suite you can enjoy a bath with a mountain view. Our communal deck has a BBQ and Hot tub, sun loungers and dining suite to enjoy the last bit of evening sun and admire the sunset. Continental breakfast supplies are provided in your room, so you can enjoy breakfast at whatever time suits you. This consists of a range of cereals, milk,orange juice, yoghurt,bread, butter and spreads. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided as well.

Neighbourhood information

Horopito is a lovey community just 10 minutes from Ohakune where you can find a supermarket and great range of restaurants. Being located in the country, there is minimal road noise and you will wake up with bird song and croacking frogs in the summer. The Old Coach Road Cycle path can be started from out property. The Mountain to the Seas cycle trail runs past our property. We are ideally located for walking the Tongariro Crossing and can advise you on the different shuttle options available for this one way walk.
