We back onto the fabulous/well known Tamahunga Reserve. The entrance to the walkway is only minutes away - we are excited to say that there are baby kiwi chicks amongst the bush. If you are lucky enough to see or hear them this is true treat or you may even come across them if you decide to do the walk. Located only 45 minutes from Te Arai Links which is a renowned International Golf Course offering a stunning restaurant and of course a golf course to enjoy at epic proportions Only moments away is the fabulous Sawmill Brewery - perfect spot for eating and experiencing their own homemade beer and local wines. We are minutes from the Matakana Country Club which is known for its wedding and concert venue + their artstudio and restaurants and so much more. Only 5 minutes from the fabulous Matakana Village - Saturday Markets are always an attraction. Also the Matakana Boutique Movie theatre is a true treat and a wonderful experience with the Vintry available for a cocktail or a sit by the fire or a summers drink (depending on the season). Whatever the occasion we are fortunate enough for you to explore and discover. We are approx 10 minutes (drive) to Omaha Beach, one of the safest and beautiful beaches around with its white sand. Perfect for all generations and families etc. Only being approx 50 minutes from Auckland we are very central and easy to get to with the new motorway now open. Matakana is fast becoming one of the places to visit as we have so much to do and explore. Outdoor activities like surfing, or any water activities are available + walking and cycling tracks. Of course that spot of shopping or wine tasting is also available - the choices are endless and you certainly will not be bored.
