Our Place: Our home faces the ocean with sunset and sunrise views. We are totally off grid with our own solar power for all of our energy needs. With a swimming pool, direct access to the beach and ocean snorkeling; you are assured of a space where you can connect with nature and have a private retreat. Our 30 square meter guest quarters provide an oversized king bed, an extra single bed, sofa/bed, air conditioning, flat screen tv, desk, and private roof deck with views of the ocean, sunrise, sunset, and the stars. You have direct access to the rock beach. Please note that the path to the beach is rocky and a bit challenging. Since we live on the edge of the sea, you are welcome to walk out of your room and go snorkeling, visit caves along the beach,and observe foraging sea turtles, coral, and other sea life. This is our family home, and we welcome you to visit the place we have set up to share this beautiful island with others.

Your Host: This is a family run enterprise to share the beauty of the place where we live. In addition to myself, my husband and sister, we have two young children. There are a bevy of rabbits wandering the compound, a couple of cats and a golden retriever. Like many Filipinos we love to sing (karaoke), dance (zumba), and eat good food. We are happy to provide a space where you can have a private retreat, or to introduce you to local activities and events. For us, this is a way to meet people from all over the world and share the beauty of our island.

Our Neighborhood: We live on the outskirts of Tag-ibo, a small village (barangay) five kilometers from the municipality of San Juan on Siquijor Island. Our home is in a quiet area of the countryside, so simply relaxing and soaking up the sun or stars and listening to the crickets and waves can be a regular past time. We can also introduce you to our local filipino neighbors and a taste of rural filipino life. On the highway within a half kilometer walking distance are local filipino stores and eateries. The municipality of San Juan offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, accommodations and clubs. Along the highway six kilometers in the other direction is the famous Siquijor Balette tree. And one of the beautiful waterfalls on the island (Lugnason Falls) is a couple of kilometers up the hill from us. You reach our home by walking or riding a motorbike down a path for 150 meters from the highway to our gated compound. There is private parking at our compound for motorbikes, but cars must be parked on the highway,
