Casa d'avó Maria is a traditional Serra da Estrela house [all in granite] and was the home of my great-grandmother and my grandmother Maria. The house is located in the historic area of the village [Arrifana - Seia] and has 1 double bedroom, bathroom, equipped kitchen, living room with sofa bed, fireplace, firewood and free internet. The house has a traditional decoration respecting, in this way, the materials, colors and local products. So, if you want to visit Serra da Estrela and spend a few peaceful days this is an excellent option. Welcome to Casa d'avó Maria and Serra da Estrela :-)
I was born and raised in Serra da Estrela [Seia] and the landscape, culture and our people shaped my character. Although, for professional reasons, I live in Aveiro, I am an ambassador of Serra da Estrela, from my origins, which I always carry in my heart and where I return often to be even happier. I hope you will also find happiness in Serra da Estrela and, especially, in Casa d'avó Maria :-)
