We are Kit and Samantha, long-time hosts and creative professionals who love welcoming guests to our peaceful home on Portugal’s beautiful Silver Coast. We are no strangers to hosting — we were Airbnb Superhosts in Lisbon for several years and ran creative retreats in Portugal between 2013 and 2017. Kit is a former telecommunications engineer who now enjoys a second career as a photographer and visual artist. Samantha is a qualified dance teacher and author with a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellbeing in Education and both have over 20 years’ experience hosting guests in the UK, Lisbon and the Silver Coast. We share our home with two gentle and friendly cats, Georgie and Lia, as well as a small fish pond surrounded by peaceful gardens. Guests often comment on the sense of calm and the feeling of being close to nature. Our creative studio space is open to guests at all times if you need a quiet place to paint, write, think, or work. If you’re looking for a little inspiration during your stay, you can even book a private watercolour or acrylic art lesson with Kit.
