Neighbourhood information

Ferragudo is a traditional fishing village, steeped in history where you can still see fishermen with their catch of the day. Within and around the cobbled streets and whitewashed cottages you will find the main plaza, Praça Rainha Dona Leonor, with many cafes and restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines. Across the river you have one of the biggest cities on the Algarve, Portimão and the beautiful beach of Praia Da Rocha. If you are looking for a little more adventure and night life, then this is where you need to be with its many bars and restaurants that are open till late. You are around a 10-minute drive to the popular resort of Carvoeiro and some of the best Golf courses on the Algarve. Should you want to explore the Algarve or simply relax this is a great place to be based. Even though, there is public transport and a bus stop close by we do recommend you hire a car.
