Casa da Ria is located in Praia de Faro, a little beach-focused island with excellent restaurants and amazing experiences to be had. Windsurfing, surfing and other sea sports courses can be taken and the size of the island is perfect for a long walk or bike-ride along the coast. If you want to leave Praia de Faro, don’t worry. It takes a mere 10-minutes to drive to both the Algarve airport and the Faro train station. If you wish to arrive by public transport, there’s also a ferry that connects the island to Faro. If you wish to visit other parts of the Algarve, locations such as Olhão, Vilamoura, Quarteira, Almancil or Tavira are no more than a 30-minute drive away, as is the Aquashow waterpark, numerous delicious restaurants in the area and big shopping centres for all your needs. In the island itself, there’s a little grocery store, while bigger grocery stores and pharmacies can be found near the airport. Free parking spaces can be found on the street near the house with a large parking space right in front of it.
