This accommodation is in an old building in the center of the town that was renovated, keeping it's roots. You'll find inside an arch that is there since the building was built, and all the work and furniture you'll find inside was renovated by hand, by your hosts, with lots of love, hope you like it.
We are locals and tourists as we you are, we like to travel and we like to be welcomed when we travel and thats why we do our best to make your experience the best possible.
We welcome you in newly renovated house in the old center of Alcochete, a small town, across the river from Lisbon, 20 minutes ride from Lisbon by car or 30 minutes by bus, with a stop 5 minutes walking distance from the property. Here you can observe the locals and dine in the local restaurants in front your house, and also shop fresh biologic products from a local grocery just a step away from your accommodation. If you need bigger supermarkets they're about 10 minutes walking distance. In our hometown, where one of the most important kings of Portugal was born, Manuel the first responsible for the Maritime Expansion, you'll find Churches built in the 15th century, a riverside beach with beautiful sunsets, salt production factories where portuguese used to salt and dry the codfish and flamingos that travel from Africa to this specific part of Portugal. We hope you enjoy our hometown as much as we do.
