Manas was born from our travels and the search for that feeling of arriving in a new place that immediately feels like home. In a world that asked us to move faster, we chose to slow down and return to our childhood holiday home. What started as a coliving space evolved into something deeper: a collection of soulful homes designed for intentional living, for creativity and conscious indulgence. We curated the spaces thoughtfully to promote moments of deep connection as well as quiet introspection. Santiago do Cacém is a small town in Alentejo, Portugal. It is known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, and proximity to stunning beaches. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and a quaint old streets leading up to the castle, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. We're located 1h30 from Lisbon Airport by car and we highly recommend having your own vehicle to surf and explore the surrounding area. If you don't want to rent a car in Lisbon, there is a connecting bus and we can help you arrange local transportation. The region has a Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. We feel so fortunate to have grown up in this incredible place, with year-round surfing, delicious food, and breathtaking landscapes.
