A modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower, and a separate laundry room with washer and storage makes longer stays easy. Set on Avenida 32, you’re in a calm residential stretch of Espinho with easy access to the coastline and town center. Days naturally orbit the beaches: Praia da Baía and the seafront promenade are Espinho’s social heart, great for walks, sunrise runs, surf lessons or just watching the Atlantic roll in. The city boasts around 8 km of sandy shore, so you can swap between lively and quieter strands as you wish. On Mondays, follow the locals to the famous Espinho Weekly Market — one of Portugal’s best-known street markets — for fresh fish, produce, ceramics and textiles. In the evening, the landmark Casino Espinho adds live shows and classic gaming a short stroll from the beach. If you’re feeling active, head south towards Oporto Golf Club (Portugal’s oldest course, with true links character) or keep it simple with a boardwalk wander along the dunes. Between beach cafés and simple seafood grills, it’s easy to find grilled fish, shellfish rice and pastéis fresh from the oven. Getting around is straightforward: Espinho station connects you directly to Porto’s São Bento/Campanhã by frequent urban trains in roughly 20–30 minutes, handy for day trips to the city or further along the Aveiro coast.
