The Adega which used to be the wine-making area of the farmhouse has been converted into an unusual four-room apartment with access from its own exclusive garden on one side and the main entrance through the courtyard to a private patio for dining and relaxing. Guests have their own separate area by the pool which is shared with the cottage. We have maintained the traditional stone walls where possible and we have added a modern fully equipped kitchen. Within ten minutes you will find good shopping in supermarkets and local produce markets. The historic city of Coimbra is only 40 minutes away and an interesting day trip over the mountains brings you to the lovely town of Lousa.
