THE SPACE / Start your morning with the soundtrack of the birdsong in the cork oak trees, take a short drive for a day at the beach before returning home for a warm shower in nature and dinner under the open sky… and don’t forget to cuddle up under the stars after dark. The caravan is warm and inviting, with a 140cm bed for deep rest, a small sofa for reading or journaling, a simple yet well-equipped kitchen, and generous closet space to keep things tucked away. Step outside to enjoy your own private dining and lounging area, with mountain views and the tranquil sounds of nature. The open air heated shower and compost toilet are just a few meters away, nestled in a private corner under the trees. The compost toilet is part of our intention to tread lightly—helping conserve precious water and return nutrients to the land. We’re fully off-grid here, drawing our water gently from our own lake source, so we ask guests to join us in being mindful with water use. We are Jess + Mayo, a couple who has spent our time together traveling the world, before settling in the Portuguese countryside to raise our family. We welcome you to our little piece of paradise and hope you will love it as much as we do. We live on site and are available should any questions or needs arise. It is our absolute pleasure to make your stay with us in the hills an exceptional and memorable one.

The area around the caravan hideaway is completely private and will not be shared with any guests. There are not shared facilities, it is all for you. There are other people living on the 12 hectare land (including us), and on neighboring lands. We kindly ask that you please honor the privacy of those living here (as yours will also be honored) by exploring on the trails we will recommend to you upon your arrival. LOCATION / Southwest Portugal – 15 minutes from the charming square of Odeceixe town, 20 minutes from the wild and beautiful Costa Vicentina and stunning Odeceixe Beach, 30 minutes from the lovely towns of Aljezur and Zambujeira do Mar, home to some fantastic restaurants, shops, and essentials.
