A new house built from basement to the furniture in old Romanian style with natural/ local materials by a carpenter from the village. We built this house for the light and warmth of the chimneys, the lazy afternoons in hammocks, long evenings around the barbecue, relaxing trips or bike on the surrounding hills and the local products that our neighbors are still offering. Also, the kids can play in the huge courtyard, on the village`s football field located very close to the property, in the tree house or just along the small stream which is nearby. We were looking for a place out of the modern noise but having modern facilities: cable tv and a functional wi fi. According to the season, you can taste what the land is offering (in the courtyard we have different varieties of berries and fruits). In the nearby (7 km by bike - we also rent two bikes) you can found the old mine salt (that can be visited) and salted baths of Slanic Prahova. Prahova Valley is reasonably close. We are not living there but we are happy to provide further information about the surroundings/ things to do.

Bertea is a small village where some people are still make a living from sheep breeding or orchards located on the hills.
