Instead of the urban hustle, you will hear church bells, discover charming cobblestone streets, and breathe in the fresh mountain air descending from the peaks of Tâmpa Mountain. Staying in Șchei means living an authentic Brașov experience, away from the tourist crowds, yet close enough to the city's vibrant heart. A picturesque 15-minute walk, passing under the historic Șchei Gate, takes you directly to the Council Square (Piața Sfatului) and the Black Church, turning the journey to the center into a tourist attraction in itself.
